We always strive to make improvements to Intellimas based on what our customers request, and this month is no different. In our latest release, we are introducing three new features. Dropdown fields have always been a useful component of any configuration, and now they are even better. As you may know, when you start to type in a dropdown, it filters the list accordingly. However the filtering always looked for the text anywhere in the list, what we call a “contains” filter. For some use cases, this could retrieve more values than you want. Because of this, we introduced three new toggle options for the dropdown filtering: “begins with”, “ends with”, and “exact match”. These options are available for each dropdown field and are saved by individual user. Easy to use and flexible ….Win-Win!
Another feature request we had received was the ability to find and potentially replace values in the grid. With a few easy steps, a user can select a column (or columns) of data and do a find action. If the column contains an editable text field, text within it can be replaced as well. You have the option to selectively replace text or perform a replace-all if desired.
Last, but certainly not least, are our Keyboard Shortcuts. Many in our user base are keyboard warriors and not mouse enthusiasts. This resulted in frustration for having to move perfectly positioned fingers off the keyboard. We have now added a robust set of keyboard shortcuts. Using the Control Key and the Backslash will give you all the shortcuts available for a particular area of the screen. Executing a search, save, or other functions has never been easier. You won’t be disappointed!
Take a few minutes to review our ‘how to’ videos explaining each of these three features in the links below. These features, along with many others, make Intellimas a compelling option for your low code, web app creation. As always, questions or comments are appreciated and welcome!
